Does the library proctor quizzes and exams?
Answer
Quizzes and exams may be proctored by the library. Professors must fill out a Make-Up Exam Form and attach the quiz or exam to the form.
Make-Up quizzes and exams cost $2.00.
Quizzes and exams can only be taken during library hours and must be taken at least an hour before closing.
If it is a Final Exam, appeals to take the test in the Library must be sent to Academic Affairs who must then approve it. If they approve it, students are responsible for setting up an appointment for when they will take the Final Exam as student workers are not allowed to proctor Final Exams.
If it is past the deadline, you will not be allowed to take the quiz or exam.
All belongs that are brought in with the test must remain at the Circulation Desk for the duration of the exam. You may only have the test, scantron, and pen or pencil with you when you take the exam. No talking or breaks are allowed. Any cheating will result in the test being taken away as well as the professor being notified. Please follow all library instructions when making up a quiz or exam in the library.
